I watched “trail of the Chicago 7” so many times, and read so much about the freedom riders. And I’ve been pondering if this generation of protesters have what it takes. Globally. Do the sunflower movement and BLM folks have the same strength to stand there and risk their lives? Because, ultimately, (I THINK), that you really only have the rights you’re willing to die for. And most have come at that Thule of cost. Does Taiwan have the will to turn into a fully militarily trained population like Israel or the Ukraine population? We saw how much resistance there is for countries with nukes to step in and defend someone else against a major power with nukes.
