I heard about vote buying when I lived in Taiwan but figured it was mostly exaggerated or imaginary like in most places (every democratic election anywhere seems to lead to some version of these accusations from the losing side). Do you think it’s as prevalent as the older generation thinks? And is it just KMT buying votes through brokers or DPP as well?
